In my lifetime, I have always had the greatest respect for intellectual Conservatives (including but not limited to George Will, the late William Buckley, David Frum, Bill Kristol) though we probably disagree on most socio-economic issues but they were or are rational, thoughtful, and smart.

What we are witnessing and hearing in these times is making the world go upside down (at least my world): adults behaving like adolescents; adolescents behaving and speaking as reasoned adults; and children separated from their parents.
