The Interfaith Nutrition Network's Thank You BBQ

Each May, The Interfaith Nutrition Network (The INN) hosts a "backyard" BBQ at its Hempstead location as a "Thank You" to its team of volunteers who work tirelessly to house and feed the homeless. The event is hosted and sponsored by Ben's Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers, as Founder/Owner Ronnie Dragoon has been a longtime supporter, and former Board Member, of The INN.

For Ben’s, the event serves a dual purpose – a thank you event for The INN volunteers and a training opportunity for the company’s large team of catering waitstaff. Ben's Catered BBQs are one of the top-requested services, so it is vital that all members of the waitstaff are highly trained in the proper service techniques. With The INN "Thank You" BBQ, the team receives the hands-on training needed, while still in a relaxed atmosphere.
