Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

We at, Ben’s, love parties and events of all kinds! And we need experienced catering waitstaff to help us make every Ben’s Event a memorable experience for our customers. We do birthday parties, holiday dinners, Bar Mitzvahs, weddings and many summer BBQ’s. Most events are on the weekends with the occasional event happening during the week. If you are one of those unique people who others remember for your bright smile, gracious manner and ability to stay calm even during the most hectic moments, please contact us. We have a great group of waitstaff now who are always willing to train new people.

Requirements Sought

Education: High school diploma is preferred. You must have the ability to understand English.

Experience: Minimum one-year experience in a catering environment.

Temperament: You must be calm and cool under pressure and have the ability to handle difficult customer situations with tact and diplomacy. Of course, you must work well with coworkers.

Physical Demands: You must be able move about freely in and out of a busy kitchen and around tables. You must be able to carry multiple meals and/or drinks at one time.
